That's why I love being a tutor.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the latest research in talent development and motivation — from Carol Dweck, whose book Mindset revolutionized the education industry, to the simple practice of motivational interviewing.

While I primarily tutor English, writing, and general schoolwork, I have also helped students medal in the science fair, make a short film, outline a novel, become a poet and present their poem in front of 200 others, etc... In fact, nothing is more exciting than sharing my love for creativity.

I have now hired tutors who specialize in SAT/ACT prep, Chinese, Spanish, intermediate French, and math and science through the college level.

Areas in which I work:
-
LA — Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Bel Air, Westwood, Pacific Palisades, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Van Nuys, Studio City and many more!
-
Online tutoring is also available! It's perfect to work on the same Google Doc as a student — it's the perfect teaching tool. Email me for more information (IvyGuideTutoring@gmail.com)

I look forward to working with you!

His mom texted me this...
