My specialty is guiding students through the personal statement essay. As an award winning filmmaker and CAPE New Writer's fellow, I can help students find their creative voice and structure an essay that highlights the qualities admissions officers are searching for.

I mainly tutor English, writing, and the humanities from elementary school through advanced college coursework. I also specialize in middle school math and science. For advanced math and science, I'm partnered with a local college professor who has a Stanford doctorate degree and tons of experience tutoring kids.
As an English teacher, I volunteer inside Juvenile Hall, which has taught me how to engage even the most disconnected students.

As a one-man production team, I directed a feature documentary in Nepal and Nicaragua which won "Best International Documentary" at the Laughlin Film Festival. I also won a spot in the CAPE New Writer's Fellowship for screenwriting and sold two feature films, slated for production in 2024.
Locations:
I'm located in Sherman Oaks, but travel within West LA and The Valley. Areas around Studio City, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, and Brentwood are my focus. NYC is now also available.
